Hi! I’m Kevin W. former driver of the Rally Innovations Rally Team GC8 circa 2006 – 2010. I got into rally by working my way up from Autocross to Rallycross and then to stage rally. I had some lucky breaks by meeting the right people and just diving head first into the awesome rally community in the mid 2000's. I had enjoyed my time racing for Rally Innovations and was fortunate enough to have an awesome co-driver (navigator) – Nolan S. a dedicated crew chief Kevin M. and a great service crew. We had pushed the GC hard for 4 seasons and fortunate enough to clinch the 1st place podium for 3 consecutive seasons just by living out the words of the great Colin McRae “When in doubt…Flat out!!!” and by just finishing each race. I had taken a break from Rally racing to be a Dad and enjoy spending time with my family, travelling, skiing and snowboarding. A long time Subaru fan, I've owned: 2002 WRX, 2004 WRX STi, 1997 Brat, 1993 Impreza L (Rally car), and a 2013 Outback just traded in for 2019 Ascent. Still one of my favorites that I’ve owned is the 04 STI. I liked that it was the first USDM STi. I wanted one since about 1998 when the GC 2.5RS were gaining popularity. I liked the raw, analog feel of everything and that there were little to no intrusive "drivers aids". Now that my kids are older and we’ve been more settled in with family life, I look forward to finish up my Impreza L and “Rally On!”
