August 2026 - Rally Innovations // Desert Phoenix

Celebrating 20 years since Subaru released one of its most eccentric and memorable vehicles, the Baja, we teamed up with Crankshaft Culture and ZenSpeed to build this Baja into the ultimate machine for the Colorado Adventure Rally!

The Colorado Adventure Rally is a time-speed-distance (TSD) event, emphasizing endurance and accuracy rather than all-out speed. Over the course of 600 miles on paved and unpaved Colorado paths, we outfitted the Baja with capable, proven products from some of our most amazing Project Partners!

Applying their years of expertise on the western gravel and tarmac stages, Rally Innovations led the development of various prototypes and one-off parts, such as an Ultimate Light Bar featuring a stealthy mounting system, custom bed cage, and a low-profile roof rack designed in collaboration with Leitner Designs.

Baja Designs hooked us up with their new Squadron 2.0 Pros on our Ultimate Light Bar and Ditch Lights; making visibility not an issue even in the most bleak conditions. To handle the rough roads, RalliTek sent over their 2” Suspension Lift Kit, custom-spec’d for any challenges Crankshaft Culture will face. Putting the power down to the ground while providing exceptional loose surface grip were the Wildpeak AT Trails from Falken, which wrapped strong, light, and aggressive 15” Black Rhino Volls Wheels. 

Joining forces with Andy & Mercedes Lilienthal, renowned automotive journalists and experienced TSD ralliers for Team Rally Innovations/Crankshaft Culture, we're reviving our motorsports roots and involving the next generation of automotive enthusiasts through ZenSpeed. Intertwining these components brings us an exciting and unique vehicle build and team - Rally Remix 2026!
