December 2021 - Jake S. // Shiggy Subie

Hello Everyone! My name is Jake, but people also call me Shiggy and can find me on Instagram @Shiggy_Subie24. I drive a 2019 Subaru Crosstrek Premium 6-Speed Manual in Dark Grey Metallic option, and have been converting it into my adventure rig!

I am running on 15” Method MR502 VT-Specs in Matte Black, wrapped in Toyo Open Country ATIII in 225/75/15R, and have upgraded to R1 Concepts Drilled and Slotted Rotors. When it comes to Rally Innovations products, I am running their Ultimate Light Bar, the Fog Light Conversion kit, Rocker Panel Guards, and Rear Rocker Panel Guard.

For the lift, I am currently on Bilstein B6 Struts with Rallitek 1” Raised Springs and 2” Spacer in the front, and their unreleased 1” Overload Springs and 2” Spacers in the rear. With their Subframe Drop kit, I am at a total of 3” of lift on the Trek. The Rear Lower Control Arms, Trailing Arms, and Toe Arms have also been upgraded to Rallitek, while under the Trek, I have the Triple Armor Primitive Racing Skid Plates for protection.

The Roof setup sits on a Front Runner Slimline II, with an Ironman 6.5x8’ Awning, Pelican 1750 Case, and a 7.5’ Fishing Rod Holder made by myself always strapped on top. In the rear, I installed the Dirtcom Trail Swing to carry my full size spare, as well as a Front Runner Drop Down Table, and Rotopax 2 Gallon Storage.

I selected the best for lighting, as the Headlights and Tail Lights have been upgraded to all Diode Dynamics LEDs, and all of my Auxillary Lights are by Baja Designs. I am running 4 Baja Designs XLR Sports, 2 Driving Combo Clear lens, and 2 Wide Cornering Yellow lens on the Ultimate Light Bar. The Light Conversion uses 2 Squadron Sports in Wide Cornering Yellow lens, and I‘m running 2 Squadron Pros in Wide Cornering Yellow lens on Ase Fab Side Mirror Ditch Mounts, 4 S2 Sports in Work/Scene Yellow lens - 2 on each side of the Front Runner Slimline II for camp lights, 2 S1 Lasers in Spot Yellow lens in the Rear as Chase Lights, and 2 S2 Sports in Spot Red lens in the Rear tapped into my Brake Lighting so they’re in sync/turn on when I brake.

All of these lights are powered by my Trigger Controller Six Shooter system, powered by an Optima AGM Yellow Top Battery. Also under the hood, I am running Crawford Performance Billet Power Blocks, and their AOS Baja Edition kit. There’s a bunch of other little goodies in the Trek, like On-Board Air, LED Lighting on the Rear Hatch Hydrolic Struts, Midland Radio setup, sound system, and more!
