March 2026 - Tristan U. // Land Shark

Hello, my name is Tristan, and I drive a 2023 VB WRX dubbed “Land Shark”. Originally, I wanted to keep the car as a daily driver but with inspiration from previous builds, that plan changed as soon as I swapped the OEM fog lights for the Rally Innovations Fog Light kit. Shortly after, I was the first ever to swap in Forester Wilderness OEM suspension completely and throw on 225/65/17 (stock Outback Wilderness sized). 

I drove the car around like that for a few months and then I decided that I wanted to go even crazier. Through coordinated effort with Rally Innovations, we quickly got the brands Baja Designs, Black Rhino, Falken Tires, Scrubblade Wipers, and Primitive Racing on board. We debuted “Land Shark” at Subiefest 2025 showing off the brand new Ultimate Light Bar, and the first VB WRX on 15” wheels. To no surprise, it was an instant hit. I strive to continue innovating for the VB WRX community just as Rally Innovations has for many years in the Subaru industry.
