October 2022 - Travis R. // Bugout Fozzy
My name is Travis and I am the proud owner of the 2021 Subaru Forester Sport, AKA @bugout_fozzy. When I purchased the Forester, my goal was known immediately. She would be an overlander and we would adventure together. I was incredibly surprised to find a booming Subaru overlanding community on social media. Since buying the Forester I have met some of the most amazing people and seen some really amazing parts of the country I never would have before. I have put a lot of effort into creating a vehicle that was more capable, comfortable and convenient. I couldn’t be more pleased with the way she is coming along but we aren’t finished yet! I look forward to really starting to put some miles on her and meeting many more of you Subie loving folks on the trails!
My modifications start with the 2-inch Ironman ATS lift, Crawford Billet Power Blocks, AEM Intake and the Nameless Dual Chamber Exhaust. From there I went with the Front Runner Slimline 2 Rack up top, decorated with the Orbis Overlanding Rack Wings, Roam Adventure 95L Box and Heretic Studio lights all around. The bottom was finished off with Primitive Racing Skid Plates and the rear end got the Curt Receiver and RigD UltraSwing. She rides on 17” Reika Bronze Teton R-20s and 245/65/17 Falken Wildpeak AT3Ws. The inside is equipped with the SwitchPro 9100 8 Gang Panel, Midland MXT275 Radio, AstroAI 32L Fridge, Jackery 240 Explorer and custom made drawers and pop outs by yours truly! Of course the lovely front end, which is the absolute spectacle of “Fia”, is equipped with the Rally Innovations Rally Light Bar with a few more Heretic Studio Quattros.
